Q: What is the last book that kept you up late into the night just to finish it?
Um . . . every book I've ever read!
I'm something of a night owl so it's not uncommon for me to still be awake at two in morning with my kindle in my hands and my mouth drooling on the pillow.
I guess the last book that kept me up just dying to know what happened next was Thoughtless by S. C. Stephens you can read my review on my other site Book Me! This was one of those books that I adored and hated all at the same time! Oddly enough, I'm always super excited to write the reviews for the books that create those sorts of conflicted feelings within me, as I literally can not shut up about them.
Another book, and this is going back a few months now, that had me sitting up until some ungodly hour was Rhiannon Frater's The First Days (As the World Dies)
That baby was all suspense, all the time!

Haven't read Thoughtless. I'll have to check it out. :D Old follower. My FF is at LKHill or Musings on Fantasia. Happy Friday! ;D
ReplyDeleteI must agree, there are quite a few books which have kept me up late, but my choice was restricted to one that stands out from the rest - Opal. I haven't read either of your choices. Might go check them out.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!!

AHHHH NO WAY! My answer was Effortless, which is the book after Thoughtless. Aren't her books fantastic??? Haha, I didn't know anyone else would choose one of her books this week! Glad I'm not the only one who loves them :) Happy Friday :)

O.M.G. I love Thoughtless...and Effortless! That has been my answer for some of the past FF posts but it's been a while since I've read it, so it wasn't my answer this time but ahh I love it, great choice! :)

Wow! When I'm not feeling so happy about a book, I feel lazy to write about it. I have to motivate myself! I like your approach about these mixed feelings though. Good answer!

I've never heard of S.C. Stephens before, yup been hiding under a huge pile of books for years. However Thoughless sounds great, I've added it to my TBR list. I miss the days of being able to stay up super late, maybe one day again I will be able to.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the awesome share!

I can so relate, I tend to read late into the night as well because the kids are asleep and there are no distractions! I followed via GFC and Linky.
